The Mention Analytics section in Thirdeye’s dashboard helps you understand how often and where your brand is being referenced across AI platforms, and what those patterns mean for your visibility.


Core Metrics

  • Total Mentions: Overall count of brand mentions within the selected time period.

  • Period Comparison: Growth or decline compared to the previous period.

  • Trend Indicator: 7-day or custom time range trend line to spot short-term shifts.

  • Growth Rate: Percentage change showing momentum (positive or negative).


Patterns to Look For

  • Healthy Growth (5–20% MoM): Indicates steady expansion in brand visibility.

  • Rapid Growth (>20% increase): Often tied to product launches, campaigns, or viral content. Needs validation to ensure it’s sustainable.

  • Decline (<0%): Signals visibility loss; may be due to competitors gaining ground or reduced content relevance.

  • Stagnant (0–5% growth): Suggests saturation or missed opportunities to expand.


Action Triggers

  • Sudden Spikes: Investigate whether caused by PR, influencer mentions, or crisis.

  • Steady Decline: Review competitor activity, content strategy, and prompt coverage.

  • Flat Growth: Introduce new prompts, expand use cases, or refresh campaigns to boost presence.
